Environmental
Osborn Pacific Group has completed design, construction documents, permitting, construction observation, and monitoring programs for intertidal restoration sites, wetland mitigation and creation sites, stream enhancement and relocation projects, and sensitive area mitigation sites.
On intertidal projects, Osborn Pacific Group prepares grading plans that provide
the intertidal fisheries requirements and the optimum mix
of fresh and salt water to accommodate a large variety of
marine plant species. These projects typically require the
preparation of specifications for removal of contaminated soils and replacement with soils to support the marine and upland plants.
Performance monitoring is typically a requirement for environmental projects. Osborn Pacific Group performs these services and is currently involved with both 3-5 year short-term programs and 10 year monitoring programs with a monitoring plan that combines the differing requirements of the Corps of Engineers and the Washington Department of Ecology.
Osborn Pacific Group Inc. specializes in complex environmental planning and permitting projects requiring special studies and adherence to applicable regulations and guidelines. Our practical experience with environmental issues gives us a unique perspective for development of strategies for planning, permitting, and implementing substantial projects.
Osborn Pacific Group has completed numerous projects requiring an up-to-date working knowledge of regulations pertaining to environmental review processes, identification of sensitive issues, and environmental constraints that can create complications if not addressed appropriately.
