Health Care

PacificMedicalCenter-ImageOsborn Pacific Group has worked with administrators and maintenance staff to design and implement temporary installations, phased projects and master plan projects. Several projects involved neighborhood and community involvement. We design all projects to offer the utmost safety and security for patients, visitors, and staff.

FossHome-GraphicTeaming with architects, engineers, and administrators has resulted in some of the most interesting variety of design work that we have seen. Our experience ranges from accommodating transportable shared medical FossHome2-Graphicequipment trailers, specifying trees and flowers beyond our wildest imagination, to creating outdoor sensory gardens for patients with Alzheimers and Dementia. The design challenges of each project serve to remind us that institutions do not want to look institutional, and yet it is still critical that they be allowed to operate in a predictable and orderly fashion. Introducing creative diversions is often encouraged, but they must be skillfully implemented in order not to create a maintenance obstacle.

Harborview-ImageOsborn Pacific Group understands the role of these facilities in the community. Essential, but not sought after but for necessity, these are homes, workplaces and more for the people who frequent them. From the time a person enters the parking lot, they should feel they have arrived someplace special. For the patients who call them home, these facilities need to greet their visitors and instill a sense of pride and ownership. Visitors need to feel welcome and to feel they have arrived at a caring and cared-for residence. The staff should feel they are working in a unique environment, not a typical institution.
