Recreation

PaterosPlayArea-ImageOur knowledgeable landscape architects and planners have worked with agencies, municipalities, and private developers across the country to create distinctive places which people of all ages enjoy. We analyze a variety of factors, including siteconditions, local demographics, operations and maintenance requirements, and financial considerations to develop projects that meet current and anticipated needs.

LordHillKiosk-ImageOver fifty percent of our work includes rural, urban, and suburban parks; trails; sports complexes; regional destination resorts; waterfront developments; and other recreation facilities. Our experience includes the siting and design of major recreational amenities such as campgrounds, swim SieverDuecyBallField-Imagebeaches, small boat facilities, tennis and team sport complexes, amphitheaters, day use areas, and structures such as restrooms, recreation centers, ranger residences, maintenance shops, and picnic shelters. Since our inception, we have completed, that is, planned and constructed, more than $300 million worth of resort destination campgrounds throughout North America.

HighlineBotanicalGarden-ImageThe design of each project reflects the character of the local community while being sensitive to the surrounding natural environment. Osborn Pacific Group also partners with private developers to successfully integrate recreation components into larger developments. Trail systems and passive and active recreation areas are combined with residential neighborhoods, office buildings or assisted living facilities to create aesthetically pleasing projects that yield a positive return on investment.
